Re-Importing a Database
If your database changes after you import it, or if the connection information changes, then you need to re-import the database. WaveMaker Studio does not automatically do this for you. When you re-import a database, the LiveTables in your Data Model are replaced. Any changes that you have made to your LiveTables since your last database export are lost. Your LiveViews and Queries are not changed. Note, however, that if your LiveViews and Queries reference tables or columns that have changed, you might get errors at runtime. To re-import, follow these steps:- Open the project in which you have imported the database.
Click on the LiveTables icon in the Main Toolbar. The LiveTables Editor appears.- Click on the Database Connections icon in the LiveTables Toolbar.

- The Database Connection Settings dialog appears. In the list along the left side of the dialog, select the Data Model that you want to update to reflect database changes.
- The connection information for the database is now displayed on the right side of the dialog. If you need to change the connection settings, then do it now. For more information on database settings, see Importing a Database.
- Click the Re-Import button.

- An alert appears asking you to confirm that you want to re-import. Click OK.
